Weekend Bible Study:
"The Demonic in Christian Thought"
Dr. Walter Sundberg,
Professor of Church History, Luther Seminary
Join Us in this Exciting Study!
When Christians gather at the baptismal font, they are asked if they "renounce the devil and all his works and all his ways." But what does the renunciation mean? And how do we understand the devil living in this modern world? This Study will look at the witness of scripture and church tradition, especially Luther, to give guidance to Christians today.

The work of the Lutheran Bible Institute California:
The Lutheran Bible Institute California is a community of students,
faculty, congregations, pastors and laity who seek the person and will of
the living God in and through the written Word.
Our purpose is to educate the people of the congregation in the Word
and the ministry into which He has called them. We are called to "equip
the saints" for the building up of the kingdom of God -- the church, the
called-out people.
Northern California classes are for congregants, pastors, associates,
financial officers, youth directors, education directors, and for anyone
seeking personal enrichment in their faith life.
