Several churches in the Santa Clara Valley Lutheran Parish are sponsoring this series of Bible Studies in cooperation with the Lutheran Bible Institute, bringing highly recognized Bible Study leaders to the South Bay for special programs. See previous programs in this series (listed above-right.)

Dr. Dennis Bielfeldt has served in the field of Philosophy & Religion at South Dakota State University since 1995, and previously at Grand View and Bethany Colleges. He began his education in History & Music at SDSU, moving to Philosophy & Religion at the University of Iowa. He received his PhD in Religion-Philosophy Theology in 1987. Dennis teaches History of Religious Thought, Philosophy of Religion, and Religion & Science at SDSUG, and conducts continuing research on Luther and the Reformation and Lutheran Theology.

Dr. Bielfeldt is a prolific writer, including works on Luther & Theology, Science and Religion, and Lutheran Ethics. As you can see from the Session Titles above, we again have a wonderful opportunity to review our Lutheran heritage, its current challenges from society, and to strengthen our Faith.
