    Goals & Objectives:
  • To strengthen the spiritual lives of our Youth.
  • To encourage teenagers to make Christ the foundation of their career development and a witness to their Christian Leadership activity.
  • To motivate and train youth and adults to participate in the important tasks of evangelism, nurture and discipleship of young people.

Saturday - April 16th
9:00 am to 3:00 pm including Lunch (Free Will Donation)
Session 2 - "Becoming a Leader that God Can Use"
Session 3 - "Keys to Staying Focused in a Distracting World"
Session 4 - "The Battle for the Leader's Mind"

Youth, Parents, & Counselors -- Join Us in this Exciting Study!

Several churches in the Santa Clara Valley Lutheran Parish are sponsoring this series of Bible Studies in cooperation with the Lutheran Bible Institute, bringing highly recognized Bible Study leaders to the South Bay for special programs. See previous programs in this series (listed above-right.)

Tiger McLuen is the President and Executive Director of Youth Leadership in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The mission of the Center is to "educate, equip and encourage leaders in youth and family ministry." Tiger is a parent of four children, an instructor of youth ministry at both the Luther and Bethel Seminaries in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a former Youth Pastor. He is an author of "The Student Leadership Training Manual for Youth Workers" and numerous articles on youth ministry. Tiger has been involved in Youth Ministry for 30 years and enjoys training Youth volunteers and professional youth workers, parents of teenagers, and speaking at major youth events throughout the nation.

This Bible Study is sponsored by Immanuel Lutheran-Saratoga and St. Timothy's Lutheran Church in cooperation with Lutheran Bible Institute-California. The level of the study is for high school age and above.
