Immanuel's Sunday educational program is based upon a one-room Sunday School format for preschool to 6th grade, and a Small Group format for Adults.Sunday Morning Schedule:
- Our new curriculum for preschool through 6th grade is from Cokesbury entitled “One Room Sunday School”. In 2007 the lesson emphasis was on the Old Testament stories about Ruth, Boaz, Saul, King David and David’s son Solomon. In 2008 the curriculum switches back to the New Testament and the life of Jesus with emphasis on his parables.
- Classroom time includes singing, Bible Study, and craft. The preschool and elementary children are separated for Bible study as appropriate. A team of two teachers leads the class.
- Adults meet from 9:50 AM - 10:55 AM in the Fireside Room. Upcoming/current programs are announced in the monthly Messenger newsletter, in the bulletin, and in the ILC Calendar. But if you don’t find it, come by anyway, SOMETHING is always going on!
- All Classes: 9:50 AM - 10:50 AM
- Adults: Class in Fireside Room (sometimes in Amundsen Hall)
Preschool – 6th grade: Education Wing, Room 3
Come join us as we delve into the wonders of God’s Word. We hope to see you on Sunday!
